About Me
Hi, I'm Júnior. Still a Junior by name, but leading design. Fifteen years in, and still learning. I've learned that teams ship products, not designers. My role is to help teams move forward and do their best work.
I lead design at Apply Digital, working closely with designers, product, and engineering to turn complex problems into something teams can actually build. I've mentored designers and worked on award-winning projects, but what matters most is what the team ships together.
I care about how teams work. Clear thinking, strong craft, and an environment where people can do their best work.
Principles ✦ 001 — My Story & Values
I look for people with taste and curiosity, not just seniority. With clear direction and real trust, teams tend to do their best work. My role is to support that and help remove friction along the way.
I've spent some time teaching and mentoring at Awari and Última School, leading experience teams at TVI and Croma. Coaching is not a side effort for me. It's how teams grow and keep doing good work over time.
Accessibility is part of the work from the start. I studied it during my Master's at UNESP and explored visual communication at Politecnico di Milano, and I try to bring it into every team I work with.
I believe in honest feedback and moving forward together. I care about clarity, consistency, and the quality of the work, no matter the size of the team.
Areas of Expertise ✦ Four Capacities
Four practices that often overlap in the work.
I help teams move forward. Hiring, coaching, and supporting decisions so the team can deliver consistently and keep improving.
I help teams find clarity. Turning complex problems into direction people can align on and move forward with.
I care about how things look and how they work. Strong visual design and thoughtful experiences that feel right and perform well.
I build systems that support the work. Design systems, clear handoff, and AI used as a tool to help teams move faster and with more clarity.
